My story
Hello and welcome to Harmonie Interiors!
My name is Cinzia and I live in picturesque Alsace, a region in north-eastern France that borders Switzerland and Germany. I have studied interior design at the Interior Design Business School (IDBS) with the talented Jo Chrobak, architect and interior designer.
I have been passionate about creating beautiful interiors since my teenage years when my parents were choosing the bathroom tiles for our new home and I would disagree with their choices whilst "educating" them on the "right" option! (Teenagers right?)

While life took me on a different path and moved from Italy to the UK to do a Master and later a PhD, and then to France following my husband's job relocation, I eventually rediscovered and reconfirmed my passion for design. This is when my husband and I decided to buy a new-build home that was missing its soul and needed a bit of warmth and character.

The choice of the name "Harmonie" for my interior design business comes from my desire and belief that a home should be a place where its inhabitants enjoy the harmonious flow of energy and are uplifted and nurtured by this energy. A beautiful, welcoming and warm yet functional space for everyone to enjoy.

My style
Although I have a soft spot for modern country design, the most important thing for me is to work with natural materials and plants. They are fundamental in creating a welcoming and nurturing space. Natural hues and muted earthy tones with the occasional splash of colour are essential to complement and add warmth to the place.
During the decorating process of our home, the application of Feng-shui principles while making eco and sustainable choices as much as possible were key to this development.
The use of low VOC paints was a must as much as the upcycling of old furniture, re-upholstering and the use of natural materials like sustainable sourced wood for new furniture and linen for the textiles.
